The new Alvida turns OP09 Buggy into a real ramp deck: two 7000s on five DON!!, a negate that clears the way, and a 10-cost that bottom-decks every turn.

First look at Red Law with EB05's Jewelry Bonney: how the base power swap really works, who can and can't take part, the Bonney list I'm playing, defending with the 9-cost Law, a lethal count into GY Robin and seven early matchup reads. Updated as the meta settles.

First look at the new Green/Yellow Robin from early testing: the 6000 rule behind the double swing, what the heal does and doesn't see, the list I'm testing, a Shanks lethal line and six early matchup reads. Updated as the meta settles.

First look at Shirahoshi with the EB05 cards: how the face-up and face-down life cards drive every turn, the Sweet 3 Generals turn that wins the board, the Shanks and Bird trap, the list I'm testing and six early matchup reads. Updated as the meta settles.

The Elbaph package was built for this leader, and this is the only deck that runs all of it. A wall of blockers that cost one or two DON!! each, behind two-drops that swing for 5000 on both turns. The two cost-12 checks, the 5-drop that misses by one point, and ten matchups.

Purple Kaido is the only deck in OP17 that gets to play a different game from everyone else, and the price of admission is that you have to hit one specific turn.

The fastest deck in the format, and the one with no 2000 counters at all. The two leader clauses that write the whole decklist, the four-DON!! turn that puts three bodies on the board, why a 7000 attack costs you twice as much as a 6000, and ten matchups.

The deck to beat, and the reason is a ten-DON!! turn with almost no counterplay. Both halves of the leader ability including the wording most people read wrong, the combo in the exact order it has to be played, which of your removal reads base numbers, and ten matchups including the three that beat it.

The best draw engine in the set, attached to a crew where not one Character has a Counter. Where your defence actually comes from, the printed line on the ten-drop most people read backwards, the Captain John lock, and twelve matchups including the four that hurt.

The Big Mom package fixed Robin. Ramp to ten, land Charlotte Linlin, and attack with a board of 8000s behind a Banish leader. Built from the Flame Flame winning list: which cards the buff really turns on, the turn-4 Linlin curve, and nine matchups.

Full breakdown of Red/Black Sabo in the Elbaph format: the engine, the lines that steal games, and how the matchups actually play out.
